Andrea Martín
Born in the Canary Islands, currently based in Barcelona,
I’m a graphic designer with a multidisciplinary approach that bridges art and design. My work often blends different techniques and mediums, exploring how form, motion, and typography can shape the way we experience ideas.
Over time, I’ve developed a strong interest in visual identity, editorial design, and animation, seeing them as tools to craft meaningful narratives that connect with people. I see design as a fluid space, one where experimentation, curiosity, and clarity coexist to create honest and accessible work.

For my Master’s Final Thesis in Art Direction, I worked on the visual direction for “Thank You For Recording” a music video by Oklou from her latest album “Choke Enough”. The project was developed together with my colleagues Elisa Legórburu, Juan Franco, Tamara Puga, Ana Martín, and Irene Toledano. I was responsible for designing the visual identity of the video. Our main challenge was to create a striking and cohesive image that aligned with the concept we developed — “Resigned Triboluminescence”.
The concept emerged after an in-depth research process into Oklou’s artistic universe, her visual language, and the atmosphere of the song itself. With resignation at its core, the idea of “triboluminescence” — light created through friction — felt like a natural extension of her aesthetic and sound.
I designed the custom lettering for the video’s title, complemented by other graphics that were created. We built a complete visual identity for the project, including editorial design, motion graphics and printed promotional materials that captured the mood and essence of the concept.
