Andrea Martín

Hi! I’m Andrea, a graphic designer from Spain. I enjoy combining different methods and techniques across art and design to create thoughtful and engaging work. I have a special interest in typography, animation and editorial design, which allow me to explore new ways of communicating ideas.
I’m always eager to learn and experiment, whether it’s designing a visual identity, an interface, or crafting animations that bring a project to life. My goal is to create designs that not only look good but also feel meaningful and accessible.

Feel free to say hi!

In May of this year, Protopixel celebrated its 10th anniversary, which also marked the official launch of the company’s rebranding. Together with Clementina Altube acting as a creative and brand strategist, we developed a visual concept that seamlessly connected both milestones — celebrating a decade of innovation while introducing a renewed identity for the brand.

One of the main challenges was to strike a balance between the celebratory tone of the anniversary and the refined direction of the new branding, which needed to convey modernity and cohesion while remaining true to Protopixel’s essence. Another consideration was to ensure that the event’s visual narrative and the rebranding announcement felt harmoniously integrated, both conceptually and aesthetically.

As a Visual Designer, I approached these complexities by building a visual language inspired by the company’s slogan,Build anything with light”. I sought to infuse the project with a fresh and dynamic design perspective, introducing subtle elements that would renew the brand’s visual energy while staying aligned with its identity. Light became the central metaphor, guiding the color palette, compositions, and motion treatments to evoke movement, transformation, and creativity. The concept was translated into a full event identity, spanning digital assets, printed materials, and visual projections.

The result was a strong identity designed to leave a memorable impression on collaborators, clients, and partners, while also reflecting the brand’s evolution. This project was an opportunity to apply my skills in conceptual design, visual storytelling, and art direction, and to contribute directly to the success of a strategic moment for Protopixel.
